SAMI-M: A story about digital transformation

For the SFC team, it is a real pleasure and a great responsibility to work with a client like SAMI-M. This company has been present on the Bulgarian market for meat and breaded products since 1996, and consumers have long accepted its name as a synonym for quality and irreplaceable taste. At the beginning of our cooperation, the first priority was to take the necessary steps to modernize the brand's image, while preserving its individual sound established over the years. The first step towards this process was to create a brand book for SAMI-M, which would serve as the basis for any subsequent advertising activity.
Why is it necessary for every business to have its own brand book?
The benefits of such marketing development are many and long-term. Within the individual brand book, all components for the public presence of a brand are described in detail - logo and everything related to its incorporation, colors that will be used in various projects, fonts, communication style in social and traditional media, internal communication style (email design, business presentations, etc.). These decisions are made after a discussion of previously specified values, goals and target audience of the brand and their systematic follow-up contributes to its clear identity in the physical and digital space.
SFC created a brand book for SAMI-M, within which we developed the concept for a color palette and fonts that best reflect the company's personal style. Of course, considering the brand's long history on the domestic market, we also included a large part of already existing products such as product packaging, notebooks, vehicles, etc.
Web design and development
Based on this collected information, we moved on to building a new standalone website for SAMI-M. We relied on a clean design concept that would clearly communicate the necessary information to the user and create a sense of ease. We paid special attention to the product catalog and added a “Recipes” section, in which they would be presented in a new, more accessible light for the user. Following the idea of more interactivity, we created a place for sharing interesting facts and news that could be useful to readers, to introduce them to the company’s production activities and to provide interesting information about the products. We took into account SAMI-M’s presence in public life and allocated a specific space for social activities in which the brand takes an active part.
Digital Marketing
SAMI-M also trusts SFC to develop the brand's digital activity and its most effective online communication with consumers. On a monthly basis, we jointly decide on the content that will be published on the company's social channels - Facebook and Instagram, which includes the presentation of new products, advertisements, organic posts and other methods through which we keep the brand-consumer relationship active.

SAMI-M is a brand with a long history. When did you feel the need for a digital approach to the company's advertising activities?
It has always been important to us that our message and products reach consumers in the fastest and most effective way possible. The development of technology has changed the way this happens, but our goals and vision have remained the same. For this reason, it was not difficult for SAMI-M to expand its advertising activities to online platforms - this was a challenge that we met with interest.
How has the digital environment changed for you in recent years?
Certainly, the conditions for an adequate online presence are dynamic, and we prefer to leave these activities in the hands of professionals who are responsible for our goals as a brand.
How does it feel to have a more direct connection with your users?
Yes, that's one of the many benefits of having a social media presence - the ability to see user reactions in real time. We feel more confident in the decisions we make.

SAMI-M's priority is to always collaborate with partners who share our level of enthusiasm and professionalism.
How has SAMI-M's digital presence developed since we have been working together in this direction?
We have been publishing targeted ads with a monthly budget on Facebook and Instagram for a year now and have a permanent digital advertising campaign through A1 on Google and Facebook. We received real results within the first quarter. Thanks to the new visual and content concept of our product publications, we have significantly increased the number of our followers on social networks, as well as the number of feeds reached, and we have already set new, even more ambitious goals.
