What is a landing page and what is its function?
A landing page, also called a target page, is a form of website used as a marketing tool. It is the first web page that a user sees when opening a website. A landing page can be reached with a text advertisement and a link to it, a banner ad, an advertisement on social networks, and others. The main difference between a landing page and a website is that it is not intended for general use. Also, its function ends with the user performing an action.
The purpose of a landing page can be to collect information about the user, direct them to a specific product or service, invite them to register, purchase, subscribe to a newsletter, open a link, etc. While a website allows the user to view multiple pages with different information, a landing page does not provide a way for the customer to “escape” to another page. For this reason, its main function is to convert potential customers into actual customers.

How to create a good landing page?
The first thing you should pay attention to when creating a landing page is the design. It should differ from the design of the main website and invite users to perform the desired action. To do this, bright colors are applied to buttons, links and other call-to-action features. Also, larger fonts and images are used.
The title and text are the other main part of the landing page. They should be attractive, but unobtrusive and informative, but not as much as the page on our website that explains the service. The user should not waste time reading too long on the landing page, he should understand what is needed to perform the action we want from him.
Pay enough attention to the meaning of your text. It should explain briefly and clearly why the user should take advantage of the given service or product right now, enter their details for a newsletter, register, open a link, etc. Be interesting, fun, but don't shy away from the informative tone too much.
You can also try the following tricks to increase user trust in you: place the logos of the companies you work with; place statistics about your work so far; show your loyal customers' opinions about you.
Make the landing page interesting and engaging, but not too intrusive. Leave the user some space between the images and/or video and the text.
